To locate information about any menu commands, Clickon click on the area of interest on image above.

Be aware that this discussion primarily applies to door properties in Floating mode. When docked, the Preview pane is positioned vertically under the door options.

    Major components

The preview pane consists of three major areas:

    1. Preview area: Displays the door in a 3d orthographic or openGL view. It can also display a preview of the machining for the current component in 2d as it would look going out to machine.
    2. Slider: When in Ortho or openGL view, the slider can be used to rotate the door.
    3. Menu

    Machining

The Machining view option allows you to select individual sections using a drop list. The selected section is displayed along with a status bar - see example.

Example : View Machining and Status Bar

The Machining view option allows you to select individual sections using a drop list. The status bar provides information about the currently selected machine step or click point which is indicated by a green dot (see image example 2 below).

In example 2, the status bar states that the click point is on Vertex #1 with XY coords [66.6mm:50mm] which is the height of the border. The dimensions shown here were added in Machining Editor mode. Note that the required tool (i.e. dimension or tape measure) is turned on by clicking the required tool while in Current Editor mode.
